Christopher Cowan is an Attorney-at-Law having been called to the Jamaican Bar in 2018. While practicing at the Private Bar, Mr. Cowan specialised in Civil Litigation and Labour Relation, often appearing before the local courts and the Industrial Disputes Tribunal.
Prior to being appointed as Deputy Clerk, Mr. Cowan worked at the Housing Agency of Jamaica where he was responsible for overseeing multiple conveyances and providing legal advice for joint ventures and government financed developments.
His experience in both the private and public sectors has shaped Mr. Cowan’s approach to executing the job of Deputy Clerk, by applying the best of what he has learned in both areas to the role.
Mr. Cowan is also an avid cricket fan and is a lover of nature and books.
