Ms. Colleen Lowe is a Barrister and Attorney-at-Law with more than ten (10) years legal experience who was called to the Jamaica Bar Association in July 2014 and the United Kingdom Bar Association at Lincoln Inn Fields in March, 2012. She is also a proud graduate from the Glenmuir High School in the parish of Clarendon. Ms. Lowe pursued her LLB Law Degree at the University of Hertfordshire and the Bar Professional Training Course at the BPP Law School in the United Kingdom. She has a Certificate of Legal Education from the Norman Manley Law School. Ms. Lowe is also the holder of a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Suffolk.

Her professional career in Jamaica has allowed her to gain work experience from Lopez & Lopez Attorneys-at-Law, the National Land Agency, the Electoral Commission of Jamaica before taking up her position in the Houses of Parliament as the Deputy Clerk.

Ms. Lowe is also a certified mediator both in the United Kingdom and here in Jamaica. One of her passions is to empower persons to learn how to resolve their conflicts in an amicable and mutually beneficial way as she believes more can be achieved when persons try to work together instead of against each other.

 

Schedule a Parliamentary Tour

Experience Jamaica’s Parliament through an engaging and educational visit. Tours are available Monday–Thursday at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., and Fridays at 10:00 a.m. Visitors may observe live parliamentary proceedings from the Visitors’ Gallery when sittings are in session, or participate in a guided Chamber tour when no meeting is scheduled.

Tours are free of charge and can accommodate groups of up to 50 persons.
