I was born on June 14 1959, in Lititz, St. Elizabeth. I attended the Lititz Primary and Junction Secondary School. I also attended the Beaumont Comprehensive College, Church Teachers College, Management Institute for National Development, and University College of the Caribbean. In respect of my professional profile, former teacher. Vice Chairman of Alpart Community Council, former councillor/mayor, former member of the St Elizabeth parish team. I also served as Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives and Chairman of the Internal and External Affairs Committee of Parliament. I currently serve as Chairman of the Regulations Committee of Parliament, State minister in the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Mining, sitting Member of Parliament for St. Elizabeth South Eastern and a member of the Infrastructure & Physical Development, Ethics and Public Accounts Committees of the Houses of Parliament.
